At The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa all of our 898 guest rooms and 100 suites have undergone a recent refurbishment; during which a keen focus was maintained to a establish a variety of environmental sustainability initiatives. For example, all the carpeting and the full-length glass enclosures for the showers and commodes were all recycled. All the furnishings were sent to a wholesaler to receive a second life along with the old televisions which were replaced with 37" HD flat screens. The old Heavenly Beds® were donated to a relief fund and the new balcony furniture is now 100% recyclable. We offer many carbon footprint reduction opportunities.
